Which Transfer Guide Year to Choose (Choice of Catalog Year)
Students need to use the transfer guide for their catalog year. A student's catalog year is determined by the semester and year of the student's initial enrollment in any public Arizona community college or university. Students maintaining continuous enrollment at a public Arizona community college or university may graduate according to the requirements of the catalog in effect at the time of initial enrollment or any single catalog in effect during subsequent terms of continuous enrollment. Students may maintain continuous enrollment whether attending a single public community college or university in Arizona or transferring among public institutions in Arizona while pursuing their degree.

Course equivalencies may change over time. Regardless of which catalog/Transfer Guide year a student is following, please be aware that the equivalency a course will receive is the one in effect when a course is taken, and could be different than that listed in the Transfer Guides.

Please follow the link below for the major and Transfer Guide year you need.

Liberal/General Studies Information
All undergraduate degrees require a liberal studies component. Many majors and upper-division courses have prerequisites which may also satisfy liberal studies requirements. Please refer to the appropriate transfer guide and/or Liberal Studies course listings to determine if this applies to a chosen major.

The liberal studies component may be satisfied through completion of courses, as presented in NAU's Liberal Studies Program, or their community college equivalents. Another option is the completion of an AGEC or TGECC. For more information please refer to the following links:
